A water-heater repair is 90 minutes, so it looks for 90 minutes and does not squeeze it into 45. The job it writes carries the address, the note about the side door, and the sentence the customer said on the phone.

Your week stays one week.
When the calendar on your phone and the job in the app disagree, the day says so and you pick — inside the day, once. Nothing is moved for you and nothing is cancelled for you.
Until you answer, the hour is held and Lena is told nothing.

The customer gets the address read back.
The confirmation opens with the address, because that is the fact a customer checks first. 47 Maple Ave, Ridgeway — Thursday 13 Aug at 9:00 AM, about 90 minutes.
If it is the wrong house, you find out at 2:00 on Tuesday instead of 9:00 on Thursday.
What it does not do.
The list a salesman would leave out.
It doesn’t double-book.
Two callers cannot take the same hour. The second one is offered the next gap the job actually fits into, or told you will ring back.
It doesn’t move a booked job on its own.
Not for a calendar conflict, not for an emergency, not for traffic. It works out what moving would cost, shows you, and waits.
It doesn’t book what it can’t fit.
If the job needs 90 minutes and the day has 45, it does not shorten the job. It takes a message and tells the caller you will ring back.
It doesn’t take a deposit.
There is no payment anywhere in this. Money stays between you and the customer, the way it is now.
It doesn’t guess your hours.
It offers slots inside the week you set and nowhere else, and it closes when you close.
Questions about booking.
Will it book a job into a slot I’m already busy?
No. It only offers hours your calendar shows free. It has no way to see a taken slot and book over it.
Will it move a job I booked myself to fit someone else in?
Never. It doesn’t touch jobs you booked yourself. It only fills hours that were already open before it called.
What if there’s no free hour today?
Then it offers the next one that’s actually open, even if that’s tomorrow. It doesn’t invent room in a full day.
