What it does
It only offers hours you actually work.
A week, the days you close, and the holidays you keep. It reads all of it before it offers anybody a time, and a caller at 6 in the morning is offered 7:00.
What it does, one screen at a time.

Monday to Sunday
The week is 7 lines.
Monday to Thursday 7:00 to 5:00. Friday 7:00 to 1:00. Saturday closed. Sunday 9:00 to 3:00. That is the whole thing, and Saturday answers with the word “closed” rather than an empty space, so you can tell it apart from a row nobody filled in.
It is what a caller is offered, and it is what the booking screen believes.

Any hour, any day
You can paint an hour on or off.
Tap a cell to open or close that hour. The hatched blocks are hours a rule already closed — the slot held for emergencies, and the days your calendar closes on its own — so you can tell what you did from what the app did.
Nothing saves until you press save hours, and while you are deciding, the hours a caller is offered are the old ones. The screen says so out loud.

The rest of the year
The days you close are a list, not an argument.
1 September, closed. The Tuesday you take off for a wedding, closed. The Friday you finish at noon, half a day. Add a date and it stops offering it — it does not need to know why, and it does not ask.
If your year runs on the Jewish calendar, one switch handles the rest: the app closes you before sundown on the days it should, reads the time from your address, and you never type a date or keep a list.
What it does not do.
The list a salesman would leave out.
It doesn’t book outside your week.
Not for a good customer and not for a big job. Outside the hours it takes a message. An urgent call still rings you — that is the emergency rule, and it is separate.
It doesn’t work out that you are away.
There is no clever guess from an empty calendar. A day you close is a day you closed, and until you close it the day is open.
It doesn’t cancel what is already booked.
Closing Friday afternoon does not touch the 2:00 that is already on it. The job stays on your calendar and the decision stays yours.
It doesn’t save quietly.
Until you press save, callers are offered the hours you had. If the week changed on another device while you were editing, it says so and refuses to overwrite it.
It doesn’t set half hours in the grid.
The week moves in whole hours. A 7:30 start is set on the day itself, in two steppers, because a grid that pretends to do both does neither well.
Questions about your hours.
Will it book jobs on Saturday if I don’t work Saturdays?
No. Saturday stays off unless you turn it on. The days you’re closed live on one list, and it won’t book outside them.
Can I block off just Friday afternoons without closing the whole day?
Yes. Hours are painted on or off block by block: Friday morning open, Friday afternoon closed, exactly as you set it.
What if I need to close for a week without touching all my settings?
Mark those days closed on the list and it stops booking into them. No need to redo your regular hours afterward.
